Making his way up the mountain on his own - skier and poet Mallory Duncan reflects on his journey before the inevitable plunge. The sound of What If? is broken into three parts. The first, highlighting the isolation of Mallory's journey through ambient soundscapes and sounds of the mountain. The second section reflects his inner journey and determination to overcome, with hip hop inspired ambient beats. The third and final section is filled with cinematic tension and accompanies the plunge back down the mountain.
